For Sale is a 1984 Land Rover 90. This is the first year the body style changed to the current “DEFENDER” style after the classic “Series” bodies. Though technically a Land Rover “90”, the name DEFENDER was not adopted until 1990.
This is a very clean vehicle imported from Italy with all paperwork included in sale. The vehicle is powered by a 2.5L Naturally Aspirated engine which generates approximately 68 bhp. The odometer shows just over 181,000 km (112,000 miles).
The body is very clean showing only surface rust on some areas of the doors and lower rear tub. A respray in the past makes for a beautiful finish. The frame has had several repairs including the rear quarter and one outrigger. The chassis has since been coated with a rust encapsulator and is extremely solid. The power steering works excellent and makes this Land Rover vehicle very comfortable and easy driving.
